Field Instructor — WFR
Formerly a life coach with the Daniels Academy and a field guide at Aspiro, Amanda Standley is an NCOAE field instructor who is deeply skilled in managing risk while guiding and teaching students and others through the backcountry.
Born in Garland, Texas, Amanda enjoys rock climbing, running, yoga, meditation and just being outside. She is a Girl Scout Gold Award recipient and is a Wilderness First Responder (WFR).
She majored in kinesiology at the University of North Texas where she received her bachelor’s degree.
Amanda says the best thing about working for NCOAE is the opportunity to meet awesome people and share her passion for the outdoors with students.
