Born and raised in Atlanta, Ga., Bennett joined up with us last April and currently works as a guide and instructor for students and course participants during climbing blocks.
He comes to NCOAE with experience as a camp counselor and summer staff member at Camp Mikell, a camp and conference center of the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta on 460 acres in northeast Georgia. He was also a climbing guide and instructor at the Appalachian Mountain Institute (AMI).
In addition to a Bachelor of Arts degree in fine arts from Brevard, Bennett is a member of the American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA) and is certified to guide single-pitch climbing. He is also a Wilderness First Responder (WFR) and a Leave No Trace trainer.
