Field Instructor - WFR
Born and raised in Cullowhee, North Carolina, Jonathan Moore is the type of person who goes to any lengths to better the lives of those he leads on backcountry and wilderness adventures. Jonathan joined us here at The National Center for Outdoor & Adventure Education in the summer of 2015 with qualifications that include a Wilderness First Responder certification, along with CPR, AED and Airway training and expertise.
A 2014 graduate of Western Carolina University, he was a photographer for the Kalu Yala village in a Panamanian river valley, and before that, a direct care staff member at Tandem Northwest, a not-for-profit that provides residential support to adults with disabilities. Jonathan’s hobbies include mountain biking, surfing, rock climbing, photography and art.
