Field Instructor — WFR
Passion and patience are two qualities Kayla Rosenow brought to the table when she joined our crew of NCOAE field instructors (along with experience gained at Naturalists at Large, where she teaches outdoor education throughout California). Kayla has also worked in a variety of wilderness guiding roles in Utah and has guided sea kayaking adventures in Alaska. She is a member of the American Canoe Association (ACA) and Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI).
This Minnesota native received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Drawing and Ceramics from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, and her professional certifications include Wilderness First Responder, Leave No Trace Master Educator, Sea Kayak Touring Level I & II, and Open Water Scuba Diver. In her free time, Kayla enjoys hiking, climbing, kayaking and being out in nature.
