Kenzie Carson

What do you get when you combine a program director for The Selway-Bitteroot Frank Church Foundation with a lead instructor for Outward Bound? Kenzie Carson is what you get, and you’re glad you did! This 2008 graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo majored in Outdoor Recreation and Natural Resources Management, and is now one of NCOAE’s standout field instructors. A Leave No Trace (LNT) Master Educator, Kenzie’s passion for connecting students with community and the natural environment is exactly what you want to see from instructors running multi-day trips in the backcountry.
Born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mex., Kenzie’s other professional designations include being a Wilderness First Responder and certified as an Avalanche Level 1 rescuer. A self-admitted ‘adventure dreamer,’ Kenzie enjoys skiing, trail running, climbing, boating and cooking and consuming only the tastiest of treats.
