Field Instructor — WFR
Ricardo Flores, hails from Port Neches, Texas. As a NCOAE field instructor, he is charged with facilitating student and client safety and discovery in the backcountry and other wilderness settings. Ricardo enjoys seeing the personal growth & development of youth and adults and uses challenge-by-choice experiences that take place in natural settings like the great outdoors — because that’s where he can feel the energy of nature, which he says keeps us healthy and aware of what is really important in our lives.
With past experience as a logistics manager and then project manager for Proctor & Gamble, this former CEO of Adventure Tourism of Grupo Tepui and field instructor for North Carolina Outward Bound, is a natural group leader. His professional certifications include being a Project Manager Professional (PMP), a Leave No Trace (LNT) master educator, and a Wilderness First Responder (WFR).
Ricardo is a 2006 graduate of Universidad Yacambú in Cabudare, Venezuela, where he received a degree in electronics engineering.
